I think we can all agree that nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day quite like a heart made from Covid test vials filled with samples. Romance at its finest. This photo was taken by Daniel Victor, one of our reporters from the London Bureau, who is staying at our hotel in Beijing.
We have to get tested everyday and we get an email at the end of the day if you haven’t been tested. Go more than 24 hours without a test and your credential stops working, essentially locking you out of events. The tests are taken by an unending stream of haz-mat clad people.
I’ll be headed back there tomorrow right after women’s freestyle slopestyle.
Today was super cold again — about 16 below this morning with minus-21 windchill. Thankfully, I was indoors at our mountain office after spending the morning watching the Super Bowl on my laptop.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
